Society is changing and so is Family Law. The increased involvement of the Bank of Mum and Dad, the clash of cultures when parties from overseas buy property with their relatives, and grandparents having to step up following queries about parental capacity are on the increase. As Family Lawyers, we need to be across how best to advise, appear for, and defend claims for and against third parties in both property and parenting disputes, including under the new regime which commenced 6 May 2024.
