Ghania Dib
Ghania Dib is a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner (FDRP) with specialised training in “meeting with children”, Nationally Accredited Mediator, and Family Law Arbitrator.
Ghania regularly mediates family law disputes (parenting and/or property). She also completed the Trillium Commercial Mediation training many years ago and brings a commercial approach to the mediation of property matters. Having experienced the family law courts system, she understands the deep and personal journey of separation and divorce and the emotional rollercoaster accompanying family law proceedings. Ghania also has a personal insight into the impact of Family Law proceedings on children and is passionate about providing separating parties with the option of a child-inclusive model of mediation.
She has undertaken further studies in religious models of mediation, including the PeaceWise training, and is undertaking a Masters’s in Islamic Studies with a focus on family law and mediation. Ghania is regularly invited to speak on the role of culture and religion in family law and understand the impact such issues may have on the resolution of family law matters.
Ghania has extensive non-legal training in the human behaviour sphere and is a certified Life and Performance Coach and NLP Practitioner, an accredited consultant, and trainer of Extend DISC, human behaviour specialist, and an accredited Emotion Code practitioner. Life Matters Academy, and the Islamic Sciences, and the Research Academy of Australia (ISRA) have engaged Ghania to present on human behaviour, relationships, and well-being.
In 2020, Ghania was listed as a finalist of the Lawyers Weekly Australian Law Awards “Regional Suburban Lawyer of the Year” and of the Western Sydney Woman in Small Business Growth Award
